The data center allows us to have access to all the major carriers, giving the most reliable service available. Equinix has a proven record of 99.9999% uptime. The reason for housing the servers in America rather than Australia is that America's network technology is far more advanced than what is available in Australia. The Chicago Equinix data center is based on a OC-192 (10Gbps) Tier 1 connection. This ensures that there is always a high bandwidth available to the end user.
